A wild burrowing owl sits upon a post, at home in the South West Manitoba prairies. In recent years, the burrowing owl population has sharply declined due to habitat loss and other factors in Manitoba. With the help of generous landowners and the hard work of MBORP, wild owls have slowly been returning to Manitoba.
